Challenges of Epidural Hematoma Treatment after Cranioplasty: Case Report and Review of the Literature

Cranioplasty has its risks and complications as all surgical procedures. Treatment of are poorly known could raise significant challenges. One these is epidural fluid collection (EFC). We presented a case recurrence EFC with deterioration consciousness. A decompressive craniectomy was performed after rotten subdural hematoma so cranioplasty done more than half year cured infection. An occurred next day one month the cranioplasty. Due to many repetitive surgeries head computed tomography scans vacuum drainage system formed. After twelve days treatment patient improved EDC disappeared this system. tried search possible causes methods for in literature. However, pathogenesis still unknown only symptomatic.
